Robert L. Willis

Age 79, of East Rochester, died Sunday, May 19, 2019 at his home. He was born May 4, 1940 in Salem to James R. and Elizabeth (Worm) Willis. He retired from PCC as a grinder after 22 years. He graduated from Minerva High School in 1958.

He is survived by a son, Lon (Marjorie "Sally") Willis of Medina; 2 sisters, Winnifred Betz of Louisville, Jane (Glen) Unkefer of Columbiana; a grandson, Justin (Wen) Hammond of Columbus; 3 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a son, James Willis; stepdaughter, Debra Furguille; 2 sisters, Agnes Willis, Joetta Leyda; 8 brothers, James, Jr., Perry, Lelan, Wilbur, Ralph, Buster Lloyd, William and Richard Willis.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 11:00 am at Grove Hill Cemetery in Hanoverton with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Calling hours will be held Thursday 6-8 pm at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva.
