Robert B. Unkefer

age 83, of Minerva, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021 in the Arbors of Minerva.  He was born June 1, 1938 in Alliance to the late Atlee and Jeanette (Betz) Unkefer.  He retired from James River Corp. in Minerva.  He is a member of the Malvern First Christian Church.  He loved attending church and church social events and being with his church friends.  He was an avid horseman in his younger years.

He is survived by a sister, Beatrice Ringer of FL, brother, Jay Unkefer of VA, sister-in-law, Jean Unkefer of Minerva, many nieces and nephews and good friend Larry Karlen.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating.  Burial will be in Freeburg Cemetery.  Calling hours will be one hour prior to services.  Friends are encouraged to bring a favorite story to share.
