Robert Lee Riley III

Robert Lee Riley III of Minerva, was born to Robert Lee Riley II and Mary Elizabeth (Porter) Riley on April 24, 1969 in Akron, OH. He unexpectedly passed away on June 29, 2020. He reached the age of 51 years. He was married to Melissa Wright on July 12, 2002. They were blessed with two sons.

Robert heard God's call approximately 10 years ago. He repented and received forgiveness of sins. After a time of searching he, together with his family, joined the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. He was baptized on April 4, 2017 by Minister Gary Miller.

Robert loved the Word of God and the Faith was precious to him. He was a positive person and loved people. He was an avid outdoors man with many interests and enjoyed practicing survival skills.

Left to cherish special memories are his wife, Melissa; two sons, Robert IV and Raymond of the home; two stepsons, Todd Michael Wright of Akron, Tyler Matthew McCrum of Tallmadge; his father, Robert Riley II of Scio; two sisters-in-law, Patty (Joe) Mitchell of Akron, Amy Sue Wright of Akron; a brother-in-law, Paul David Wright of Akron, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 10:00 am in the Church of God in Christ Mennonite Church on Bandy Road in Homeworth with Ministers, Gary Miller, Joe Unruh and Neal Yoder officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services at the church.
