Robert B. Nehus

Age 55, of Malvern, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017 in Mercy Medical Center. He was born June 4, 1962 in Alliance to the late Robert and Marilyn (Miller) Nehus. He was a mechanic and co-owner of M&N Auto Marine in Minerva. He is a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Malvern, the Catholic Men's Club, Moose Lodge #707 in Dover, the Carroll County Animal Protection League and the N.R.A. He was an avid dirt bike and 4-wheeler rider.

He is survived by fiancé, Cathy Barnhart, and her two children, Jacob (Ashley) Barnhart of Homeworth, Zachary Barnhart of Massillon and 2 grandchildren, Lauren and Jacob, 4 sisters, Mary (Duane) Diershow of State Center, Iowa, Jeanne (Joe) Ward of Augusta, Patricia (Bruce) Ohler of Mechanicstown, Kathleen (Greg) Draper of Minerva and 5 nieces and nephews.

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10 am in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Malvern with Father Victor Cinson as celebrant. Calling hours will be Tuesday 5-8 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carroll County Animal Protection League.
