Robert A. Moser Jr.

Age 69, of Minerva, died suddenly Sunday, June 12, 2022. He was born Feb. 14, 1953 in Canton to the late Robert and Dorothy (Chance) Moser Sr. He was a welder for 50 years, having worked for Union Metal in Canton and Minerva Welding.  He graduated from Carrollton High School in 1971. He had a music ministry for the Lord Jesus Christ for 50 plus years. His first group was called "Rejoice!" Since the beginning of that ministry, Bobby has spent thousands of hours of practice and dedication, and played at dozens of local churches.  Hundreds of people have enjoyed Bob's showmanship and musical programs and he was well loved in the community. He was a friend to the friendless, was kind hearted and always ready to help others down on their luck.

He is survived by 5 siblings, Alan (Donna) Moser of Minerva, Douglas (Lynne) Moser of Redland, CA, Wayne Moser of Minerva, Allyson Moser of Minerva, Dana Hartline of Carrollton, 11 nieces and nephews, Dustin, Corwin, Robyn, Shannon, Tricia, Julie, Jamie, Cheyenne, Jenna, Hannah, Isaac, Curtis and many great nieces, great nephews, other close friends and those many people he mentored over the years. He is preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Sonja Moser and a niece, Nichole.

A private family service will be held in the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Lee Iden and Rev. John Carpenter officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com .
