Robert F. Jewell, age 75, of Minerva, died Sat., Sept. 28, 2013 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born July 20, 1938 in Alliance to Robert and Helen (McKee) Jewell. He retired from PCC in Minerva where he had worked for 40 years. He graduated from Alliance High School in 1958, and is a member of the Alliance Church of the Nazarene and the North End Next Generation in Alliance.

He is survived by his wife, Carol (Young) Jewell whom he married Dec. 8, 1973; 3 daughters, Stephanie (Brett) Phillips of Minerva, Colleene (Mike) McIlvain of Minerva and Sindy Jewell of TN; 2 sons, James (Rosie) Evans of Warren and Stan (Amy) Tuttle of NJ; 2 sisters, Jodie Pisoni of Alliance and Kathy (Dick) Rinehart of Alliance; a brother, Donald (Gerry) Jewell of Alliance; 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Glen Davidson officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
