Robert L. Houze

Age 71, of Minerva, died Wednesday, March 4, 2020 in Aultman Hospital. He was born September 4, 1948 in Canton to Curtis and Georgia (King) Houze. He graduated from Minerva High School in 1968 and then served in the US Army during Vietnam. He is a retired truck driver who drove for RC Miller and Waste Management. He is a member of the Minerva First Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Ward) Houze, whom he married June 14, 1969; 2 daughters, Christina (Kevin) Cox of Minerva, Courtney (Chris Lenarz) Houze of Minerva; a brother, Richard (Sally) Houze of Minerva; 3 grandchildren, Andrew (Kaitlyn) Cox, Justin (Rebecca Stone) Cox, Hunter Cox and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services with full military honors will be Monday at 7:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Roberts officiating. Calling hours will be held 5-7 pm prior to the funeral service.
