Robert Hole
Age 87, of Scio and formerly Minerva, died Sat., March 16, 2013 in the Trinity Hospital Twin City in Dennison . He was born April 8, 1925 in East Rochester to Arthur and Winifred (Taylor) Hole. He retired from Diebold where he was an Industrial Engineer for 42 years. He is a member of the Presbyterian Church, Past Master and former Treasurer for Tubal Lodge #551 F&AM, Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton, Minerva Chapter Royal Arch Masons in Carrollton, Loyalty Council, Royal and Select Masons in Carrollton and he was a former President of the Malvern Rotary.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Jane (Stiffler) Hole whom he married Dec. 19, 1948; 2 sons, Greg (Dixie) Hole of Scio and Jeff (Robin) Hole of Minerva; 7 grandchildren, Zeke (Anita) Hole of Scio, E.J. (Kristie) Hole of Malvern, Alecia (Josh) Tisher of Ravenna, Miranda (Donny) Coss of Paris, Joanie Krider of Malvern, Robert Blackson Jr. of Waco and Diane Blackson of Dover, 11 great grandchildren and 2 sisters-in-law, Bertha Christensen of Canton and Marian Stiffler of Massillon.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. James Rice officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wed. 6-8pm in the funeral home with Masonic Services at 7:45 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc.
