Robert Lee Gross, age 77, of East Rochester, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born Oct. 8, 1938 in Moultrie to Otto and Grace (McCullough) Gross. He retired from PCC Airfoils where he had worked for over 46 years. He graduated from Minerva High School and is a member of the East Rochester United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Betty (Winrod) Gross whom he married July 27, 1955; 2 daughters, Kim DePalmo of Minerva, Lori (Charlie) Walker of Malvern; 2 sons, Michael (Diane) Gross of Lakeland, FL, Rick (Susan) Gross of Wesley Chapel, FL; sister, Vickie (Jerry) Ramsier of Paris; sister-in-law, Anna Mae Gross of Bay Village; brother-in-law, Jim Tarbet of Canton; 7 grandchildren, Codie, Ashley and Gunner Gross, Wesley and Kolby DePalmo, Emily (Tyler) Marion, Tiffany (Doug Clear) Walker; and a great grandson, Mason Clear.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 4:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Scott Williams officiating. Burial will be in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services from 2-4pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
