Robert D. Grogg

Age 86, of Minerva, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 in the Aultman Specialty Hospital. He was born November 21, 1930 in Minerva to Edward and Dora (Leyda) Grogg. He Retired in 1996 from PCC in Minerva where he was a foreman for 39 ½ years. He was a member of the Minerva Eagles Aerie #2199 and an avid fisherman and bowler.

He is proceeded in death by his wife, Nova Jean (Leggett) Grogg who died in 2005; 3 brothers, William, John and Kenneth Grogg; Stepson, Timothy Trussel and a grandson. He is survived by 2 daughters, Tammy (Art) Michel of Louisville and Teresa (Doug) Dowd of Minerva; a son, Trent (Sally) Grogg of Malvern; 5 stepsons, Frank (Char) Trussel, Robert (Sandy) Trussel Jr., Daniel (Diana) Trussel, Joseph Trussel, David (Ann) Trussel all of Minerva; sister, Dorothy Lucas of Minerva; 24 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 6:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with John Trussel officiating. Following cremation, burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday 4-6 pm prior to services. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
