Robert T. Griffith, age 64, of Minerva, died Thursday, May 4, 2017 in Mercy Medical Center. He was born May 31, 1952 in Carrollton to the late Thomas and Frances (Reigle) Griffith. He is employed by the Minerva Dairy where he had been a truck driver for 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Betty (Trussel) Griffith whom he married Dec. 3, 1993; 5 children, Angel (Jeff) McKelvey of Minerva, John (Renae) Griffith of N. Benton, Kendra, Kiel and Kurtis Griffith all of the home; sister, Judith Griffith of Canton; brother, Thomas (Mary) Griffith of Minerva; mother-in-law, Dorothy Trussel of Minerva; 3 grandchildren, Jacob and Andrew Cook,  Kaylee McKelvey and one on the way. He is preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Holder and a brother, William Griffith.

Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 11 am to 1 pm prior to services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mercy Hospice.
