Robert "Ed" German

Age 62, of Kensington, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025.  He was born Nov. 27, 1962 in Canton to Sordonna (DeAngelo) German of Malvern and the late Robert German. He was an auto mechanic for many years and loved to work on cars, trucks and lawnmowers. He is a member of the Minerva Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and used to talk at the ministry school.  He graduated from United Local High School in 1981, graduated from Stark State Auto Tech School and loved playing music and bass guitar in several local bands.

In addition to his mother, Sordonna he is survived by a daughter, Candice German of East Canton, 2 brothers, Thomas German of Lisbon, Eric (Wendy) German of Malvern and a granddaughter, Layla.  He is preceded in death by his father and a sister, Deborah German.

Following cremation, calling hours will be held Sunday, March 9, from 2:00-4:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva.  Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
