Robert W. Cox , of Minerva, loving father and companion passed away on April 10, 2020, at age 65. Robert was born May 25, 1954, in Troy, PA to John and Delores Cox. He drove a water truck as a career and retired from Enervest last year. He raised one son, Jared Cox.

Robert loved golfing and riding his motorcycle. He loved cooking new recipes and going out to dinner with family and friends. He had a big heart, always wanted to help people, and had a laugh that made everyone around him laugh.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, John and Delores Cox. He was survived by his son, Jared Cox (wife: Kortney), his companion of 10+ years Valerie Davis, and her children and grandchildren, his Brother John Cox (wife: Ruth Ann), Brother Richard Cox, Sister, Barbara Hawkins (husband: Herbert). Also, many nieces and nephews.

Closed ceremony for immediate family. Celebration of Life date TBD. Robert will be laid to rest at Augusta Ceremony in Augusta, Ohio. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
