Robert P. Carper
age 69, of Minerva died Wed., December 21, 2011 in Aultman Hospital. He was born December 28, 1941 in Canton, OH to Warren and Margaret (Miller) Carper. He was a truck driver having worked for the Craft Dairy Group for 24 years before retiring from Carter Express. He is a US Navy Veteran and a member of the Malvern United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Lynn (Shoaff) Carper whom he married Sept. 14, 1984; a sister, Janet Terry of Massillon; and a special cousin, Alice (Ike) Clapper of Minerva.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday in the Malvern United Methodist Church with Pastor Allen Hill and Pastor Thomas Snyder officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the church or the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
