Robert L. Call
age 83, of Minerva, died Friday, May 14, 2021 in Cleveland Clinic-Mercy Hospital in Canton. He was born May 26, 1937 in East Springfield to Lewis and Elsie (Stone) Call. He retired from Weirton Steel and had been a fence builder, a volunteer fireman and a school bus driver. He is a member of the New Franklin United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Stevens) Call whom he married Feb. 12, 1998, 7 children; Greg (Anna) Call of East Springfield, Cris Call of New Philadelphia, Natalie (Christian) Kurilko of Grovetown, GA, Ron (Lorri) Myers of Oakridge, TN, Terry (Julie) Myers of Robertsville, Julie Ritchie of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Doug Myers of Minerva, sister, Susan (Gary) Risnear of Richmond, brother, David Gary (Caroline) Call of FL, 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by 2 children, Brian (Chuck) Call and Rodney Myers and a great grandson, Keagan Call.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held Thursday at 2:00 in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Susan Bowman officiating. Memorial contributions may be made any charity that helps in the care of animals.
