Richard C. Scherpenisse, Age 61, of Malvern, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016 from injuries sustained in an accident. He was born Oct. 26, 1954 in Winnipeg, Canada to the late Cornelis and Roelfina (Hann) Scherpenisse. He was the owner and operator of Pioneer Basement Solutions for 30 years. He graduated from Timken High School and worked for UPS in Canton. He attended the Minerva Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa (Higdon) Scherpenisse whom he married Oct. 4, 1986, daughter, Micayla Scherpenisse of Malvern, son, Ricky Scherpenisse of Malvern, sister, Marni (Gene) Christy of Canton, brother, Jim (Michelle) Scherpenisse of Mansfield and their children, Josiah and Natalie, mother and father-in-law, Joe and Bonnie Higdon of Malvern, sister and brothers-in-law, Shelly and Doug Reynolds of Avon, Ivo and Pam Araujo of Malvern and their children, Rylan, Joey and Bella.
