Richard J. Henning

Age 94, of Paris, OH died Wednesday, November 29 ^th 2017 in Alliance Community Hospital. He was born Jan. 21, 1923 in Paris to Herbert and Faye (Sponseller) Henning. He is a retired dairy farmer. He was currently a member of the Christ Memorial Church in Robertsville and was a longtime member of the Christian Missionary Alliance in Alliance. He graduated from Louisville High School in 1940, and was a member of the Stark Co. Farm Bureau and The Beekeeper Club.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Margaret (Blackburn) Henning who died in 2014; 3 sisters, Lois Gassman, Stella Heavner, Margaret Mills; 2 brothers, Clyde Henning, Robin Henning; a daughter in law, Christa Henning. He is survived by 4 sons, David (Naomi) Henning of Minerva, Dale Henning of Paris, Paul (Debra) Henning of Marysville, Jonathan (Rebecca) Henning of Greenville, SC; a sister, Leila Kindall of Louisville; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 am in the Robertsville Christ Memorial Church with Rev. Jonathon Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Paris Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 5-8 pm at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
