Richard A. Hamilton

Age 69, of Minerva, died Thursday in Rose Lane Care Center in Massillon.  He was born Oct. 14, 1949 in Canton to Samuel and Bernice (Wilson) Hamilton.  He was an electrician for Land of Lakes Electrical in Cleveland. He is a US Marine Veteran, Past Master of Augusta Lodge #504, F&AM, member of the Wellsville Eagles, Wellsville American Legion Post and the East Liverpool Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Carla (Miller) Hamilton whom he married Aug. 14, 1976, daughter, Mona (John) Cunningham of Atwater, 2 sons, Robert Carney of MD, Eric (Kim) Hamilton of Cleveland, sister, Rita (Tom) Morse of Elizabethtown, KY, 2 brothers, Ron (Irene) Hamilton of Yulee, FL, Roger Hamilton of Canton, 8 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters.

Masonic services will be Tuesday at 7:00 pm with flag presentation by the US Marines.  Calling hours will be Tuesday 5-7 pm prior to services. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice.
