Richard E. Fogg
Age 94 of Minerva died peacefully Sunday Dec.25, 2011 in his home unexpectedly. He was born March 14, 1917 in Winona, MN to Jess and Cora (Shear) Fogg. He was a self employed Dairy Equipment salesman for many years. He is a WWII US Army Air Corp. veteran where he served as a pilot. In 2008 he was chosen to attend the honor flight to Washington DC. He is a member of the Minerva First Presbyterian Church and was one of the founding directors of Consumers National Bank.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Hamm) Fogg who died in 2005, sister; Evelyn Shear and a brother; Clyde Fogg. He is survived by a daughter; Nancy Urban of Massillon, son; Greg (Kathy) Fogg of Marco Island, FL, 3 grandchildren; Ashley (Gareth) Davies of Summerville, SC, Brett (Leslie) Fogg of San Diego, CA and Molly (David) Seehafer of Littleton, CO, 3 great grandchildren; Tyler Fogg, Reece Rogg and Taylor Seehafer.
Calling hours will be Friday from 6-8 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. A private family funeral service will be held on Saturday with Pastor David West officiating. The lieu of flowers the family requests that you donate to your favorite charity or perform some act of kindness to a neighbor or friend in Dick's honor.
