Richard E. Draher
Richard E. Draher, age 79, of Minerva, died Friday, July 29, 2011 in Mercy Medical Center in Canton. He was born Sept. 27, 1931 in Minerva to Kenneth and Hazel (Archibald) Draher. He retired from the Minerva Wax Paper where he was a guillotine operator and had worked for Bud's AMOCO in Minerva. He was also a member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Malvern and a 1950 graduate of Minerva High School.
He is preceded in death by his wife Delores who died in 2009, a son, Michael Draher and a half sister Lillian Becker.
He is survived by a daughter, Susan Draher of Minerva; 2 sons, Richard (Sandy) Draher of SC, Thomas Draher of Minerva and a sister, Barbara (Joe) Drotovick of Canton; 2 sisters-in-law, Gladys Sacks of WA, Carol VanMeter of Malvern; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews and family along with many good friends and neighbors.
Following cremation a memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday in St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Malvern with Rev. Wallace Anderson officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
