Richard M. Chuckalovchak

Age 53, of Massillon passed away Monday, May 12, 2025.  He was born June 9, 1971 in Nanty-Glo, PA to Richard and Joanne (Ciprich) Chuckalovchak of Minerva. He worked for Heinz Frozen Foods in Massillon.  He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva.  He graduated from Minerva High School in 1989 and attended Kent State University.  He loved spending time going to concerts or fishing with his friends and spent his free time building computers.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by 2 sisters and 2 brothers, Beverly (Ronald) Nichols of Niantic, CT, Carol (Ric) James of Sterling, VA, James (Kim) Chuckalovchak of Minerva, Paul (Lisa) Chuckalovchak of Summerville, SC, 4 nieces and nephews, Katherine, Jayde, Kamryn and Alyssa and a great nephew, Rome, and several aunts and uncles; Helen Ritchey, George Ciprich, Mary Louise (Robert) Ford and Donna (John) Yokitis.

Following cremation, a Mass of the Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 22nd at 11:00 am in the St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva with Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services from 10 to 11 am at the church.  Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery in Cresson, PA.  Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
