Richard Brookhouser

Age 77, of Minerva, died Sunday, February 26, 2023 in Minerva. He was born September 11, 1945 in Erie, Pennsylvania to Gerald and Viola (Allen) BrookHouser. After graduating from high school, Richard joined the United States Navy. Following the navy he drove truck and enjoyed his carnival business, being a Boy Scout Leader, shooting pool, and riding his motorcycles.

He is survived by a son, Steve Brookhouser of Centennial, CO; former daughter-in-law and caregiver, Michelle Stack of Minerva; a sister, Kathryn Brookhouser; a brother, Gerald (Shirley) Brookhouser, Jr.; 3 grandchildren, Eric, Scott & Christy; 1 great granddaughter, Brileigh.

He is preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Swanson.
