Raymond R. Seery, age 53, of Minerva, died Thursday, August 9, 2012 in the Cleveland Clinic. He was born Sept. 27, 1958 in Canton, Ohio to the late Russell and Hazel (Matheson) Seery. He worked for Union Metal in Canton and East Manufacturing in Randolf and was a member of the Minerva Eagles Aerie #2199 and the Fraternal Oder of Orioles Nest #268 in North Canton.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne (Harsh) Seery whom he married Feb. 14, 1980; children, Bradly Seery of Canton Rae'chell Seery of Minerva, Rebecca (Russ) Knight of Minerva, Garrett (Danielle) Hamilton of Paris and Darcy Slack Raymose of OK; 5 grandchildren, Zachery Seery of Minerva, Bradly "R.S." Seery of KY, Gabriel Knight of Minerva, Brennan "J.F." Seery, and Kay'ella Knight of Minerva; other loving family, Bertha (J.D.) Smith of Tampa, FL, Terry (Marla) Pavelzik of Canton, Tyson (Tina) Foresha of Paris, Barb Cornelious, Breanna Crowl, Michael Sibert, Tamika Sibert, Robert Geisinger and Cathy Bywater all of Canton.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 8:00 p.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Calling hours will be Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held Monday at 11:00 am in Liberty Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
