Raymond L. Leasure
Age 70 of Minerva died Friday August 24, 2012. He was born Sept. 14, 1941 in Salem to the late Raymond "Art" and Mary (Navojosky) Leasure. He was the owner of C&R Construction for over 20 years. He was a US Marine, an avid hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman, great cook, gardener, craftsman and woodworker.
He is survived by his wife Carol (Georges) Leasure whom he married Jan. 27, 1968, 3 sons; Raymond (Pam) Leasure of Kensington, Shawne (Pam) Leasure of Greenville, SC and Noah (Tammy) Leasure of Dallas, TX and 5 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a sister, Jean Hupp and a brother, Alan Leasure.
Following cremation, private memorial services will be held at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Memorial contributions may be made to the Minerva Area YMCA. "When I was healthy and able to do for them, they had the time for me. When I couldn't do for them any longer, I was forgotten."
