Raymond Jones
Age 98 of Minerva died Wed. Aug. 29, 2012 in Minerva Eldercare. He was born Aug. 20, 1914 in Coshocton to Paul and Ethel (Kemp) Jones. He retired as the owner of Area Printing in Dunedin, FL where he had worked for over 20 years. He had also been a Foreman at the Minerva Wax Paper Co, and a for US Ceramics.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Greenwood) Jones who died in 2003, a sister, Evelyn McKinney and three brothers; Eugene, Ralph and Edwin Jones. He is survived by a son, Glenn "Buddy" (Donna) Jones of Tyler, TX, sister, Maxine Wilhelm of Crossville, TN, granddaughter, Paula (James) Weaver of Gladewater, TX, 7 grandchilren, 3 great grandchildren, and nieces, Patricia Ferguson of North Canton and Carol Houston of Crossville, TN.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Joseph Ertl officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Minerva Area Salvation Army.
