Randy D. Rodgers

Age 76, of Carrollton, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026 in the Aultman Compassionate Care Center. He was born November 22, 1949 in Canton to Charles and Twyla (Willis) Rodgers. He worked for many years at the Carroll Hills Workshop and St. John’s Villa Workshop. He is a member of the Malvern First Christian Church. He was a participant in Special Olympics and loved to go bowling and play in the bell choir. He especially loved horses and the outdoors and going on outings with his friend and would never turn down a good steak.

He is survived by 3 sisters, Denise Rodgers of Carrollton, Darla Young of Minerva, Marla Frazier and Coop of Minerva and a brother, Craig Rodgers of Carrollton and 5 nieces and nephews, Craig (Jessica) Rodgers, Kyle Frazier, Mary Ann Clark, Brian Young, Paul Young and many great nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Rodgers, brother-in-law, Dick Young and a sister-in-law, Cathy Rodgers.

Funeral services will be Friday at 12 noon in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Mr. Mark Black officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services from 11am to 12 noon at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics or the charity of your choice.
