Ralph A. Coss
Age 76, of Minerva died Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 in Minerva Eldercare. He was born Nov. 1, 1937 in Monroe County to Harvey and Elizabeth (Mobberly) Coss. He retired from the Timken Co. where he was a millwright and had been a farmer. He graduated from East Canton High School in 1957 and is a member of the Canton Church of Christ. He is a past master of Augusta Lodge #501 F&AM, 32 degree, Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton, Minerva Chapter #123 Royal Arch Masons, Loyalty Council #143 Grand Council R&SM in Carrollton, Carroll Chapter #315 Order of the Eastern Star and the Minerva Eagles Aerie #2199.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Jo Anne (Laferty) Coss, who died in 2005, sister, Mary Coss, 2 brothers, Robert Coss and Carl Campbell. He is survived by, 2 daughters, Jodine Coss and Marsha (Guy) Dourm both of Minerva, 5 grandchildren; Blaine (Gina) Toalston of Robertsville, Justin Toalston of Malvern, Dwayne (Amanda) Swonger of Strasburg, Rick (Melinda) Dourm of Minerva, 6 great grandchildren; Riddick, Rylee, Regan and Bentley Dourm, Trever Swonger and Mason Carrington.
Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 13th at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Mr. Allen Moser officiating. Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens. Calling hours will be Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the funeral home with Masonic Services at 6:30pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Augusta Masonic Lodge #501 for Special Olympics.
