Paul Wackerly, Jr., age 60, of Minerva, died Thursday, September 26, 2013 in Alliance Community Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born Feb. 2, 1953, in Canton, Ohio to Paul and Georgia (Austin) Wackerly, Sr. He had worked at the Ford Motor Co. for over 15 years, but most recently as a Golf Course superintendent from which he retired in 2011 due to
his health.

He is survived by his wife, Sue (Mingus) Wackerly whom he married Mar. 26, 1993; a daughter, Christine Weber of Canton; a son, Paul Wackerly III of Florida; 2 sisters, MaryAnn (Dave) Fulks of Lumberton, NC, Julie (Clint) Marshall of Cadiz, OH; a brother, Robert Wackerly of Canton; 3 grandchildren, Kayla Wackerly, Cameron Huscusson, and Colton Weber; and 13 nieces and nephews.

An open memorial service will be held, Sat. October 5, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Clint Marshall officiating.
