Paul J. Filisky

Age 86, of Minerva, died Thursday, May 25, 2023 in the Aultman - Alliance Community Hospital. He was born Dec. 26, 1936 in Youngstown, Ohio to Steven and Mary (Veselouska) Filisky. He was a self-employed carpenter, a graduate of Urseline High School and is a US Navy Veteran and served in the US Coast Guard Reserves. He was also a member of St. Gabriels Catholic Church in Minerva, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; and 1 brother, Jerry Filisky.  He is survived by his 4 sons, Jack (Kelly) Filisky of Hanoverton, Dan (Jerri ) Filisky of Minerva, Jeff (Debbie) Filisky of Scio, Steve (Angela) Filisky of Minerva; 2 sisters, Rosemary Boccieri of Girard, Helen Katherine Beler of North Jackson; and 2 brothers, Richard Filisky of Boardman and Frank (Sandy) Filisky of Lowelville.

Memorial Services will be held at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Minerva Ohio at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 2nd with Father Victor Cinson officiating. Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register book at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
