Paul Albert Capone, age 88, of Minerva, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014 in Minerva Eldercare. He was born May 3, 1926 in Magnolia to Albert and Hazel (Clark) Capone. He is a retired truck driver, a US Navy Veteran of WWII and was of the Catholic Faith.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth (Waldorf) Capone who died in 2008; sister, Betty Keck; brother, Sunny Capone; and a grandson. He is survived by a son, Paul (Cecilia) Capone of Carrollton; 5 daughters, Daria (Lee) Willison of Minerva, Darla (Larry) Norton of East Rochester, Shelly (Dave) Speaker of Waynesburg, Shannon Ferguson of Waynesburg and Kimberlee (Charles) Clark of Carrollton; his companion, Leona Wilfong of Waynesburg; 2 sisters, Irene Gatuso of Massillon and Mary Ray of CA; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Bethlehem Cemetery with Father Victor Cinson officiating. Burial will be with full military honors. Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
