Patricia L Davis

age 67, of Minerva, passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 27, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Aug. 24, 1952 in Salem to Joe and Helen (Shoemaker) Edwards. She was a devoted mother and wife who lovingly raised her four children. She also cared for many children in her home as if they were her own. She felt loved by the members of the Minerva United Methodist Church and graduated from Minerva High School in 1970. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, wintering in Florida, knitting, reading books and completing sudoku puzzles. Pat was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ray Davis whom she married Dec. 19, 1970, 2 daughters, Heather (Joe) Andrews of North Canton, Ashley (Kenny) Beaumariage of Minerva, 2 sons, Joshua (Jennifer) Davis of Louisville, Justin (Mikka) Davis of Minerva, sister, Pam (Ned) Casale of Alliance, brother, Ed (Pam) Edwards of Delray Beach, FL, 10 grandchildren; Jordan, Jamacyn, Nathan, Molly, Peyton, Kenley, Sawyer, Blaine, Tatum and Asher.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Friday at 11:00 am in the Minerva United Methodist Church with Rev. Harley Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Family, friends, and others whose lives Pat touched are invited to the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva on Thursday from 5-8 pm to reminisce, grieve, support each other and of course to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network ( www.pancan.org ) or the Minerva United Methodist Church in her memory.
