Oneita M. Cupp, age 94, of Paris, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 19, 1918 in Clay County, WV to Orland and Rosa (Cottrell) Boggs. She was a housewife and member of the Robertsville Wesleyan Methodist Church where she was past president of the Missionary Society.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Cupp who died in 1996; daughter, Alberta Miller; son, Harold Cupp; 4 sisters, Betty Lazzele, Rosalie Hosier, Macel Tolley and Shirley Pettry; 2 brothers, Owen M. Boggs and Junior "Bill" Boggs.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Sharon (Joel) Weinhardt of Paris and Susan (Richard) Brigham of Minerva; 3 sons, Eugene (Elva) Cupp of Massillon, Daniel (Rosalie) Cupp of Hobe Sound, FL and James Cupp of Minerva; sister, Ruth Bishop of Hartville;20 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:00 pm in the Robertsville Wesleyan Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Haight officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours will be Saturday 6-8 pm at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva and one hour prior to services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Aultman Hospice.
