Norma Jean (Unkefer) Rock, Age 81, of Malvern, passed away Saturday, April 05, 2014 in her home surrounded by her family.  She was born July 12, 1932 in Oneida, OH to Forrest and Bessie (Harsh) Unkefer.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Norma was also a 1951 graduate of Malvern High School and attended the Malvern United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, John Rock whom she married June 27, 1951; 2 daughters, Cindy (William) Rine of Minerva, Jeanie (Patrick) Lieser of Minerva; a son, Thomas Rock (Deb) of Angola, IN; 4 grandchildren, Amy (Josh) Campbell of Minerva, Rebecca (Kevin) Putt of Indiana, Michael and Jonathan Lieser of Minerva; 3 great grandchildren Laney Campbell, Kennedy and Shelby Putt; 3 sisters-in-law, Edith Pasquali, Frances Faye and Rebecca Raco all of Canton; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Carol Rock; 5 sisters and brothers-in-law , Dorothy (Marvin) Clapper, Maxine (Russell) Fuss, Betty (Edgar) Newbrough, Margaret (Nick) Kizler, Marjorie (Raymond) Hill; and 3 brothers and 2 sisters-in-law, Frank Unkefer, Delmar (Virginia) Unkefer, Walter (Dorothy) Unkefer; and 3 nephews, Robert Clapper, Nick Kizler, Jr., and David Kizler.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
