Nicholas Enoch
Age 82 of Minerva died Thursday August 30, 2012 in Aultman Hospital. He was born Nov. 19, 1929 in Malvern to Peter and Anna (Kangrega) Hinich. He retired from PCC Airfoils in Minerva where he was a maintenance mechanic for 30 years. He is a US Army Veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He is a member of the Serbian Orthodox Church in North Canton, the American Legion Post #357 in Minerva and the Minerva VFW Post #4120. He delivered Minerva Community Meals and was involved in Minerva community functions for many years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Enoch who died in 2002, daughter, Shelley (First) Locke, son, Richard First, 5 sisters; Caroline Enoch, Eva Hunter, Dorothy Enoch, Ella Hudson and Marla Enoch, 5 brothers; George, Joseph, Mike, Joe and Steve Enoch. He is survived by a daughter, Marilyn (Richard) Enoch-Fankhouser of Mt. Joy, PA, sister, Laura Leyda of Minerva, 3 grandchildren; Sherri First of Enterprise, Ala., Richard Fankhouser of Mt. Joy, PA and Heather Fankhouser of Mt. Joy, PA, 2 great grandchildren; Taylor and Richard Fankhouser both of Mt. Joy, PA.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Tim Hawkins officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be 1-3 pm prior to services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Minerva American Legion Post #357.
