Nancy (Holderbaum) Amelung

Age 85, of Minerva, died Friday, March 31, 2017 in St. Luke Lutheran Community in Minerva. She was born Nov. 20, 1931 in Minerva to John and Helen (Markham) Dowling. She had worked at Colmach, Minerva Local Schools, Structural Stoneware and Fisher's Big Wheel all in Minerva. She is a member of the Minerva First Christian Church and graduated from Minerva High School in 1951.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Bucky Amelung in 2011 and Jack Holderbaum in 1973, 2 sons, Jim and Kim Holderbaum, son-in-law, Billie Nelson and 2 brothers, Bob and LeRoy Dowling.  She is survived by 2 daughters, Kathy Nelson of Groveland, FL, Carole (Willie) Martin of Minerva, 2 daughters-in-law, Beth Holderbaum of Minerva and Debbie Holderbaum of Minerva, 7 grandchildren and 16 Gr. Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 7:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Calling hours will be Monday 5- 7 pm prior to services. Following cremation, burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Luke Lutheran Community Activity Fund.
