Mona I. Eddy
Age 81 of Westerville and formerly Minerva died Friday Nov. 9, 2012 in Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus. She was born July 21, 1931 in Pleasant City to Thomas and Maude (Hively) Finnegan. She retired from the Minerva Local Schools where she was a secretary for 25 years. She graduated from Pleasant City High School in 1949, is a member of the Minerva United Methodist Church, past matron of Esther Chapter #120 Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Pleasant City Alumni Assoc.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Eddy whom she married Nov. 23, 1950, 2 daughters, Mira (Stan) Palmer of Catawba Bay, Elaine "Peanut" Eddy of Sunbury, 2 sons, Rob (Roberta) Eddy of South Salem and Eric (Kathy) Eddy of Minerva, sister, Patricia Schafer of Pleasant City, brother, Thomas (Pat) Finnegan of Byesville, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Eddy.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Harley Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
