Millie J. Myers

Age 89, of Minerva, passed away, Friday, July 17, 2026 in the Arbors of Minerva. She was born May 4, 1937 in Smithfield, WV to Virgil and Edna Mae (Encimiger) Kuhens. She was a housewife and a volunteer at the Malvern Friendship Center. She graduated from Smithfield High School in 1956 where she was the class Treasurer. She loved to spend time doing crafts, working in her garden and spending time with friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Victor Myers who died in 1992, 4 sisters, Wilma Kuhens, Anna Edward, Eva Leggett and Lucy Ellen Kuhens, 2 brothers, Albert and Marion Kuhens. She is survived by 3 daughters, Garnett King of Carrollton, Judith Cox of Kensington, Barbara Davis of Pekin, son, Jerry (Karen) Edwards Jr., of Malvern, 2 stepsons, Jason (Jamie) Edwards of Minerva and Lonnie King, 2 sisters, Virginia Carland of WV, Mary Kocher of WV, 16 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva.
