Michael "Kent" Richmond

Age 70, of Minerva passed away Thursday January 9, 2025 in the Arbors of Minerva. He was born December 9, 1954 in Columbus to Tullie and Mary Jane (Gabriel) Richmond. He was a Restaurant General Manager for over 40 years. He was very dedicated to his job and always strived to be the best. He studied Theology in College and built a strong faith in God.  He was one of the most positive people you could meet, even to the end. He got through difficult times through laughter, as he thought it was the best of medicines.  He loved movies and had a very large collection. If he wasn't being entertained by movies, he was listening to his eclectic music collection.

He is survived by 6 children; Jennifer McClure of Delaware, Michael Richmond of Iowa, Mary (Corey) Danner of Cape Coral, FL, Andrew Richmond of Johnstown, OH, Nicole Richmond of South Bend, IN and Keri Richmond of Washington DC, a sister, Shera (John) Skaggs of Westerville, a brother, Mark (Margie) Richmond of Westerville, foster sister, Michele Ascencio of Cincinnati, 12 grandchildren; Jesse, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Levi, Joshua, Makayla, Cameron, Tyler, Kaitlynn, Lily, Emma, Sophia and 3 great grandchildren; Enzo, Jesse James III and Everett. He is preceded in death by his former wife, Roberta George and a brother, Dana Richmond.
