Mary J. (Maura) Haynam
Age 91, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 25, 2016 while residing at the Brookdale Senior Living Facility in Alliance. She was born May 26, 1924 in Ireland to Martin and Josephine (Daly) Ryan. She was an Aid for Minerva Local Schools having worked in the New Franklin Elementary and was a clerk at Miffy's Corner. She is a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in New Franklin.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Haynam who died in 2003. She is survived by 2 daughters, Debbie Cumpson of Minerva, Patsy (Tim) Tucker of Louisville, son, Jerry (Terri) Haynam of Canton, sister-in-law, Esther Johnston of Homeworth, 8 grandchildren, Steven, Shannon, Amber and Ashley Tucker, Brandi Cumpson, Frank (Ashlie), Marcy and Matthew Haynam and 3 great grandchildren, Tristan, Jazzmine and Joslynn.
Funeral services will be Monday at 12 noon in St. John's Lutheran Church in New Franklin with Rev. Joseph Ertl officiating. Burial will be in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services at the church. The family would like to thank the staff of the Brookdale Senior Living for their loving care over the last eight years and Harbor Light Hospice for their recent care.
