Matthew O. Butler

Age 61, of Minerva, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021 in the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton. He was born May 12, 1960 in Alliance to the late Irvin and Bertha (Smith) Butler.  He is an auto technician for EMS Fleet Services and had formerly worked at Kohmann Motors and Loudon Ford.  He graduated from Carrollton High School in 1978.

He is survived by his wife, Sheree (Bevington) Butler whom he married Aug. 10, 1994; son, Dustin (Shanna) Butler of Minerva; and a brother, Greg (Ann) Butler of Carrollton. He is preceded in death by a brother, Paul Butler.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, October 16, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protection League in Carrollton.  Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register book at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com .

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, October 24th at the farm. A procession to the farm will leave the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home at 1:30 pm.
