Mary Kathryn Treep, age 91, passed away Monday, Sept. 29, 2014 in the Hanover House of Massillon where she has resided for the past 11 years. She was born Jan. 5, 1923 in Uhrichsville to the late William and Bessie (Hess) Epley. She was a member of the East Rochester United Methodist Church and sang in the choir. She was a member of the United Methodist Women and taught Sunday School Class for many years. She was an Avon Representative in Minerva and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Aux.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Foster Treep, daughter, Mary Ann McDermott, son-in-laws, Jerry Lint, Edward Stanley and Frank Gonzales, sisters, Myrtle and Betty, and infant son Joseph and grandson, Dana Wartman. She is survived by her loving children, Ruth Lint of Mars, PA, Bonnie Stanley of North Lawrence, Elizabeth (Roger) Stertzbach of E. Canton, Shirley Gonzales of GA and Richard (Susan) Treep of Leetonia, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Sat., Oct. 11th at 11 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. James Rice officiating. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services.
