Mary M. Stewart, age 88, of Minerva, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 in Altercare of Hartville. She was born Aug. 10, 1925 in Atwater to William and Sylvia (Carlile) Cobb. She worked at Gray's Drugstore in Alliance for 25 years and was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Stewart who died in 2004; 2 sisters, Nancy Shope, Evelyn Battershell; 3 brothers, Carl Cobb, Robert Cobb and Albert Cobb.

She is survived by a daughter, Patti (Raymond) Pilarsh of Sheffield Lake; a son, Gary Stewart of Fairlawn; a brother, Richard Cobb of Alliance; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
