Mary Jo Snider

Age 82, of Minerva, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2022 in the Arbors of Minerva.  She was born May 25, 1940 in Wheeling, WV to Clyde and Marguerite (Rickus) Schau. She worked for Columbia Gas for several years and was a homemaker.  She graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in Wheeling in 1958. She attended St. Barbara Catholic Church in Massillon.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick "Bud" Snider who died in 2015 and 2 brothers, William and Clyde "Tony" Schau. She is survived by 3 daughters, Christine (Chris) Casale of N. Canton, Pam (Gary) Moody of Malvern, Gayle (Chris) Campo of Peoria, AZ, son, George "Tom" (Jeannette) Snider of Paris, brother, George Schau of GA, 6 grandchildren, Dakota, Logan, Abby, Eleni, Liam and Michael.

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be Thursday at 11:00 am in St. Barbara Catholic Church in Massillon with Father Matthew Mankowski as celebrant. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery in Minerva.
