Mary M. Scrivner

Age 61, of Minerva, entered the spirit world at her residence on Friday, Oct. 1, 2022 due to her on going health issues. She was born April 30, 1961 in Red Scaffold, South Dakota to Paul and Josephine Chasing Hawk. She is a Lakota Sioux Indian of the Cheyenne River Tribe. Mary enjoyed being around her family, especially her grandchildren. She was always surrounded by her feline friends, too. Mary was active in Minerva Apostolic Church and loved to sit and socialize, always telling memorable stories.

She is survived by a daughter, Sunrise Roberts of Sioux City, Iowa, 2 sons, James Scrivner of Minerva, Theodore Scrivner of Sioux City, Iowa, 10 grandchildren, Kaiza, Kohana, Zhavia, Audrey, Bernice, Willow, Zoe, Nickolas, Braylon and Braxton and a sister, Shirley Gray Eagle of Timber Lake, SD. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Joseph Roberts.

No services will be held at this time. A Celebration of her Life will be hosted at a later date.
