Mary Louise Myers
Age 72, of Hanoverton went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015 in Blossom Nursing Home in Salem. She was born Oct. 14, 1943 in Kensington, the daughter of Harry and Margaret Myers. She attended Minerva High School and worked for many years as a waitress in the Minerva area. She also worked for Moore Care in Minerva. She is a member of the Hanoverton Presbyterian Church. She was a die-hard fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Cavaliers.
She is survived by sisters, Patsy Myers of Hanoverton, Marcia Reed of Minerva, brothers, James Myers of Hanoverton, George (Rosemary) Myers of Eaton, Robert (Myra May) Myers of Stowe and John Myers of Hanoverton, many nieces and nephews including a special niece Lori who would come to take Mary out when able. She is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Helen Schmid and Betty Marietta, special sister-in-law, Carole Myers, 2 brothers, Harry Myers Jr. and Jack Myers and 2 brothers-in-law.
The family would like to thank all the employees at the Blossom Nursing Home and for all the support of the Lilly of the Valley Hospice and a special thank you to Cory and wife Gloria and to the many visits and all the prayers from Pastor Tom Allmon and the special care from Dr. Dombroski and Dr. Gregory.
Funeral services will be Monday at 12 noon in the Hanoverton Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tom Allmon officiating. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday 6-8 pm at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva and one hour prior to services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church memorial fund
