Mary E. McGuire

Age 82, of Hanoverton passed away Monday, Aug. 4, 2025 in the Gables of Green.  She was born February 26, 1943 in Kentucky to Thurman and Dolly Dimples (Robbins) Jenkins Sr. She retired from PCC Airfoils in Minerva and had worked at the Hanoverton IGA. She graduated from Carrollton High School and is a member of the Little Ella Southern Baptist Church in Hanoverton.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl McGuire Sr. who died in 2006; two brothers and two sisters, Margarette Lacey, Thurman Jenkins Jr., Earl Jenkins and Juanita Buckus. She is survived by 3 children, Carl (Tracy) McGuire of Kensington, Brenda (Jeff) Foltz of Wellsville, Teresa Edwards of TN; 7 brothers and sisters, Reva Diekmann, Desta (Frank) McGuire, Patti Jenkins, Billie (David) Bertini, Carol (Mike) Tetzlaff, Edna Jenkins, Jeffrey (Bonnie) Jenkins; 7 grandchildren, Courtney (Jake) Nightingale, Zachary (Emily) McGuire, Anthony (Ashley) McGuire, Emily (Mike) Coe, Elizabeth (Craig) Badgley, Samantha Edwards and Jacob Edwards; and 3 great grandchildren, Silas and Greenlea Nightingale and Chihiro McGuire.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Johnny May officiating.  Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.  Calling hours will be Friday evening 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
