Mary E. Mayle

age 88, of Massillon, died Friday, Jan. 22, 2021 in the Laurels of Massillon. She was born Sept. 26, 1932 in Canton to Lloyd and Cora (Kinsinger) Orendorf. She worked for the Hoover Company and was a chain stitch machine operator for Stahlheber's in Canton. She loved playing cards with her friends and bowling on local leagues in her younger years. She was a graduate of Canton South High School.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Vance Mayle who died in 1983 and two brothers, Edward and Elwood Orendorf. She is survived by a daughter, Kathy (William) Turner Jr. of Malvern, son, Gary (Darlene) Mayle of Bolivar, 3 grandchildren; Rachel (Daniel) Worley, Nathanial Turner and Krista Mayle, 2 great grandchildren; Cora and Annabelle and a niece, Vicki (Lonnie) Lowry of East Canton and her special friend, Steve Sarvadi.

A private family funeral will be held in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with William Turner officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
