M. Keith Lane, age 81, of Canton, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 in Green Meadows Health and Wellness Center. He was born July 1, 1931 in Tarkio, Missouri to the late Warren Gillis and Amy (McKinney) Lane, Sr. He retired as flight manager of Gen Corp. He is an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, a former member of Our Savior Episcopal Church where he sang in the choir and was a civic activist in the Canton area for many years.

He is survived by 2 sisters, Mary Maxine Stoerker of Howell, MI and Betty Lou Greedy of Decorah, Iowa; 2 brothers, W. Benjamin Lane of Waverly and Warren Gillis Lane, Jr. of Council Bluffs, Iowa and good friend Richard Wickersham of Minerva.

He is preceded in death by a son; sister, Margaret Lane and a brother, Stuart Lane.

Following cremation, a memorial service will take place at a later date in Tarkio, Missouri.
