Martha Jane Steinmetz, Age 93, of Minerva, died Wed., Dec. 16, 2015 in the Alliance Community Care Center. She was born April 17, 1922 in Alliance to Morris and Mamie (Markle) Betz. She retired from TRW in Minerva and is a member of the Minerva First Christian Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Steinmetz who died in 1986, 7 sisters, Valois Unkefer, Beatrice Crowl, Marjorie Unkefer, Jeannette Unkefer, Winifred Stryffeler, Kathryn Robinson and Evelyn McKee and 4 brothers, Dwight, Kenneth, Elwood and Clifford Betz. She is survived by stepdaughter, Twila (Joe) Argento of Dover, step granddaughter, Sylvia Argento of New Philadelphia and special friend, Lisa Crites of New Philadelphia and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday at 12:00 noon in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Dale Roberts officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park.
