Martha Lee Smith

94 of Minerva passed away on November 25 at home peacefully. She was a homemaker, librarian for Minerva library for a number of years and retired from St. Petersburg Times. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Minerva.

She was preceded in death by her husband Duane Leo Smith, 1 brother Robert Lee and Joyce Croop and two children James Edward Smith and Sandra Kay (Smith) Gernhardt, and 1 granddaughter Misty Lynn (Smith) Basile, and survived by her son William and Patty (Weitz) Smith, 8 grandchildren, Bonny Kay (Aeling) and Dave Ryniak of North Carolina, Jerry A. Aeling, Bryan and Tricia (Evans) Smith,Tara Lynn (Smith) and Jeremy Northam, Meg E. (Greene) and Jeff A. Mattern, Tammy Lee Gernhardt, Michael and Suzy  Smith of Florida, Shanan and Christine Smith,  24 great grandchildren, Brittney , Mark, Taylor, Dominic, James, Tiffany, Skyler, Anthony, Zachary, Alexander, Brooke, Joshua, Daniel, Jeremiah, Benjamin, David, Noah, Rachel, Sara, James, Emilee, DJ, Nathan, Joshua, Tyler, Nikki, Ashleigh and 3  great-great grandchild Jensen, Paxton and Aivah.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 1st, calling hours are from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and funeral at 1:00 pm at Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Dale Roberts officiating. Burial will be at Liberty cemetery.
